6th Gosport Scout Group pride itself on providing children with adventure and teaching our young people #skillsforlife. We wish we could offer a place at the group for every young person that wanted to join, however without more volunteer adults this isn’t always possible.
When the group is oversubscribed the group will run a waiting list with spaces offered as they become available to young people with the following priority given.
1. First priority is given to those moving up from the earlier section of the 6th Gosport
2. Second priority is given to new young people who’s parent or carers are prepared to commit to supporting the group, either as a leader or as part of the executive for at least one year
3. Third priority is given to young people who have transferred from other Scout Groups
4. Then young people are welcome in order of the length of time since they joined the waiting list.
